- To successfully enable strategy through industry-leading technology innovation, transformation, and security, we are seeking a proven, visionary leader to step into this role as Chief Technology Officer. This position is responsible for shaping the overall strategy and direction and will also serve as a key advisor on technology-related matters.
Essential Job Duties:
- Cultivates strong, impactful relationships across the organization through collaboration, teaming, consensus building and interpersonal effectiveness
- Working in close partnership with other stakeholders, both within the organization and externally, this leader will be charged with developing and leading the execution of a technology strategy to transform technology
- Influences and applies technology solutions to business strategy
- Collaborates and reviews strategic vendor partnership project approaches with relevant managers to mitigate any potential challenges and helps ensure that all initiatives adhere to Business Technology standard policies, procedures and governance
- Contributes to overall Business Technology strategic planning process
Other Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversees the effective delivery of technological capabilities; monitor key performance indicators and direct efforts to ensure optimization of operations and continuous alignment to business needs
- Oversees development, coordination and performance of annual operating and capital budgets. Collaborate and manage the ongoing expenditures against budget and within the Technology Project Fund. Assess and communicate risks associated with technology investments and/or the absence of investment
- Owns and manages executive relationships with strategic technology vendors and providers to understand their strategic roadmaps and resolve issues in a manner favorable to our organization
Qualifications:
- Advanced interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval
- Experience developing and managing acceptance of technology strategic plans or implementation
- Proven leader who can deliver on organizational commitments, ensuring that a disciplined approach to project management is aligned with speed, agility and efficiency; ability to link “roadmaps” to successful program management and delivery
