Description
Job Duties:
- Leadership (reports to the Chairman of the Board of Directors)
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors in developing and executing upon an annual fundraising and operations strategic plan and operating budget
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage key staff and volunteers in support of the annual strategic and fundraising plan
- Consistent reporting to the Board on progress towards strategic, fundraising, program and financial objectives
- Collaborate with key board members on fundraising strategy
- Drive key aspects of fundraising plan including developing major donor relationships and cultivating all donor relationships to foster a fundraising environment of donor loyalty, sustainability, and growth
- Develop appropriate strategic partnerships and fundraising opportunities by networking in key community groups
- Engage with foundations and corporations to promote Maripoza for fundraising
- Program management
- In collaboration with the Program Director, oversee programs and all aspects of program implementation to ensure that the programs meet Maripoza educational and spiritual objectives
- Develop key performance metrics to evaluate success of programs and to drive leadership and collaboration with Directors to ensure successful programs
- Supervise, coach, and support the Directors regarding policies, procedures, and curriculum
- Serve as a resource for problem solving, community relations, training, and emergency management
- Collaborate with the Board on school expansion sites, partnerships, and program elements
- Develop and maintain key relationships with other organizations, counselors, and leaders
